Research on the global and national epidemiology of dementia with a public health lens on dementia prevention and risk factors, as well as dementia care and trajectories following diagnosis. Specific research focus is on the role of infections in dementia disorders.

Main research areas include norming, validation and development of neuropsychological tests and brief case-finding instruments and epidemiological modelling of the potential for reduction of dementia risk.
