Trials are run in the Clinical Trial Unit, which is equipped with dedicated examination rooms, a treatment room (e.g. for i.v. treatment), laboratory facilities (including centrifuges, freezers), a dedicated room for procedures (e.g. lumbar puncture or intrathecal treatment) and separate waiting room.

Furthermore, there is excellent access to imaging including MRI and PET with different ligands. The Memory Clinic is a member of Trial Nation dementia center, a nationwide public-private partnership, which aims to facilitate clinical trials in Denmark, and link memory clinics across Denmark, who are able and willing to undertake clinical trials of drugs.

The Memory Clinic at Rigshospitalet is medical lead and coordinator in the network. The Clinical Trial Unit is staffed with 2 senior consultant neurologists, who have extensive experience as PIs and National Coordinators, 3 study nurses and a research administrator. The Clinical Trial Unit is run by senior consultant neurologist Kristian Steen Frederiksen.
